The project's goal is to connect local history and culture with modern tourists and local businesses through social design methods, creating a dynamic and interactive tourism experience. This approach encourages tourists to repeatedly visit and gain a deeper understanding of Dadaocheng's cultural history.
Before visiting Dadaocheng, tourists can research relevant history and event information through the project's website. During their visit, tourists will encounter historical news plaques while exploring the streets and can scan QR codes to obtain more information. By scanning AR markers, they can activate augmented reality experiences that reveal more about the local culture. While visiting inside buildings, tourists can learn more details through digital displays. During their visit, they can also receive guidance and real-time information via the LINE chatbot. After leaving Dadaocheng, tourists can continue their exploration through a virtual reality museum and share their experiences on social media, further promoting the cultural history of Dadaocheng. This experience process is designed to enhance tourist engagement and interactivity, encouraging them to revisit multiple times.

In terms of technology, the project integrates various digital technologies, including:
- QR Code and Web AR (Augmented Reality): Placing QR codes and AR markers on the streets and inside buildings in Dadaocheng, allowing tourists to scan these markers to obtain more information, increasing interactivity.
- LINE Chat Bot: Utilizing a LINE chatbot to interact with tourists, offering guidance services and real-time information.
- Web VR (Virtual Reality): Creating a virtual museum that allows tourists to continue their visit through virtual reality even after leaving Dadaocheng.
- 3D Modeling and Printing: Conducting digital prototype design and creating physical models for demonstrating and testing design concepts."
